Granodiorite rock sourced from an operating (Oaklands Junction) quarry located about 26 km northwest from the city of Melbourne (Victoria, Australia). This light grey, S-type granitoid rock forms part of the Devonian, Bulla Granodiorite Complex. Mineralogy of this rock type consists of mainly biotite (41%), quartz (33% and plagioclase (17%) with minor K-feldspar, epidote, muscovite and kaolinite.
